The Scott Catalogues for the Regions YOU Collect
Throughout the history of philately, the Scott Catalogue has grown to an enormous size. In fact, a complete set of just the A-Z countries (volume 1-6) weighs over 40 lbs! That's a lot of paper. And a lot of weight.
Of course, it's also an irreplacable resource for global collectors.
But the beauty of this great hobby is you don't have to collect the whole world. If you're like us -- and we think you are -- you collect certain regions.
And now we've made it convenient and cost-effective for you to get the Scott listings you need without having to pay for the whole world...
Introducing the Scott Digital Catalogue Subscription Regional Volumes
Our team of expert philatelists has curated an all-new set of Regional Volumes of the Scott Catalogue. Just like the six Essential volumes (countries A-Z), but instead focused on specific regions instead of alphabetical groupings.
To create these, we identified the most-requested, most-collected regions. Then, our experts curated countries associated with each region into a single Regional Volume for your convenience.
Now you can choose from four Regional Volumes that focus on stamp listings exclusive to these popular regions:
- British Commonwealth
- Germany and Areas
- France and Colonies
- Portugal and Colonies

The Power of Multiple Volumes. The Price of 1.
When you inspect the countries found within each of these regions, you'll find they consist of countries spread across the alphabet. That means you'd need to get a number of alphabetical volumes (in most cases, all 6*) to have access to the countries found within each Regional Volume.
And with those 6 volumes, you'll of course have the most complete, most powerful stamp collecting resource there is.
But we understand not everyone needs such a complete resource.
That's why we created these new Regional Volumes: so you can get the countries you need without all the countries you don't.
And when you subscribe to a regional catalog, you'll save up to 83% versus subscribing to all of the alphabetical volumes you'd otherwise need to get access to the countries in these curated volumes.

Only Possible with Digital
Every year, we publish a new set of Printed Editions of the Scott Catalogue. The printed editions cover the whole world alphabetically, while being broken up into 6 different parts. This is necessary due to their size. And we know as well as anyone that the alphabetical listings don't always suit everyone's needs.
That's where digital comes in. With the digital subscription, we're able to curate and maintain specific catalogs of ONLY the regions that matter to you. Without needing to commit to excess print runs at hefty price points.
All of this combined makes it possible for us to provide the Regional Volumes to you as Digital Subscription Catalogues.
And with your annual subscription to the Scott Digital Catalogue, you get all the benefits and features that come along with the popular new digital subscription: fast & search, take it anywhere, interactive navigation and always have the latest annual listings. Choose from Popular Regions
We've curated regional volumes for some of the most popular, most-requested regions for collectors like you:
British Commonwealth | Germany and Areas | France and Colonies | Portugal and Colonies
What's in Each Regional Volume?
Our team of philatelic experts has thoughtfully determined the components of each Regional Volume.
Each consists of a parent country or territory, plus affiliated territories both near and far. Many of the affiliations are colonies, while others are based on proximity to the parent region. For example:
- British Commonwealth. This volume features more than 160 stamp-issuing entities and comprises listings for Great Britain, British Commonwealth territories and colonies, and countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and numerous Caribbean nations with connections to the British Empire.
- Germany and Areas. In addition to Germany, significant listings include the Marshall Islands, German Occupied States and German Offices Abroad. This volume focuses on more than 15 locations across the globe that have been influenced by Germany.
- France and Colonies. Notable countries include French territories throughout Asia, Africa and the Americas. Other important listings include France Offices Abroad, Reunion, and colonies and possessions such as French Colonies, French Congo, French Guiana, and French Polynesia. More than 60 stamp-issuing entities are included in this volume.
- Portugal and Colonies. This volume includes Portuguese colonies in Europe, Africa and abroad. In total, it covers 25 different areas with links to Portugal.
