Includes the Scott Stamp Illustrated Identifier
The Scott Stamp Illustrated Identifier is your guide to identifying a stamp’s region. This is especially helpful for stamps that do not have English words on them. The Identifier includes illustrated, color pictures of stamps or parts of stamps as well as narratives about stamp symbols unique to specific countries of the world.
The Identifier ($12.99 value) has been published as a standalone publication since the 2022 edition of the Scott Catalogues, when it was separated from the main catalogs in order to make more room for the growing number of new and updated listings. We’re pleased to be able to continue to include it in the digital edition for you as an added value.
MORE Images than are Possible in Print!
As you're probably aware, there's a Printed Edition of the Scott Catalogue. While they're great and all (they've been published annually since 1868), there's only so much room in a printed product. Not so with the Digital Subscription.
Which is why we've taken full advantage by packing more images into the digital version of the same catalogue.
Automatic Updates Every Year
Just like the updates you’ve come to expect with our annual print editions, you can look forward to the same in your digital subscription. Remember, your digital subscription automatically updates with the latest:
- Value changes (thousands per year)
- NEW stamp listings
- Many editorial enhancements
- Even MORE new images we can't fit in the printed edition, every year!
Unlock maximum value with Scott Digital Catalogue Subscription

The list of 2025 updates for Volume 4 has been revealed!
As always, countless updates were made across the entire catalog from the prior year's edition. Countries that received special attention during this year’s updates include Malta, Democratic People's Republic of Korea and many others. Full details of this year's updates were announced in Linn’s Stamp News magazine, and are also available online here: What’s new for 2025 Scott Standard Volume 4?.
Every year, our philatelic team (who work on both the Scott Catalogue and Linn’s Stamp News) work tirelessly to catalog all the new issues and update values for stamp listings throughout each volume. Because the world is a big place, our editors can’t cover all the philatelic activities for every nation every year. That’s why we publish these announcements detailing just which areas received the most attention, so collectors like you can be aware of what changes await you inside.
