Effective Innovation to eliminate Dampness:
This small dehumidifier includes an indicator window with special "color changing crystals" that change from orange to green to indicate when the unit needs to be "renewed." The Eva-Dry E-333 unit will absorb 4-6 ounces of moisture before needing to be "renewed."

When To Renew the Dehumidifier
When the "color changing crystals" turn green, it is time to "renew" the dehumidifier. To do this, simply remove the unit from where it is being used and plug it into a power outlet in a well ventilated area. This will warm the crystals - allowing them to expand and release the trapped moisture as water vapor into the outside air. It takes between 10-12 hours to completely "renew" the dehumidifier. Once the crystals turn back to an orange color, the dehumidifier is ready to be used again. If used correctly, the crystals will last up to 10 years!
