Some stamps on page 1 have new Scott numbers that differ from those which appear in the 1995 edition of the Scott Specialized Cata­logue and Volume L On pa,ge 5, we have grouped the New Year stamps issued to date; space has been all.owed for future issues. Blank, titled pages have been included for the following stamps: page 7 for Scott 2819-2828 (Silent Screen Stars), page 13 for Scott 2849-2853 (Popu­lar Singers) and page 14 for Scott 2854-2861 (Jazz and Blues Singers); this allows you to mount whatever configuration of these stamps you prefer. On pages 16 and 18, the horizon­tal lines are guidelines for the placement of your mount for the Legends of the West sheets Scott 2869-2870; our page size does not allow for our usual format. Page 17 is a blank, titled page for mounting whatever of the Legends of the West gutter pairs or blocks from the uncut sheet of 120 you wish to collect.

The following pages update and replace pages from Supplement No. 53 (1992): page 1 replaces page 1, pages 2 and 4 replace page 2, pages 3 and 5 replace page 12. All United Nations stamps issued through 1994, as listed in the Scott Catalogue, are included.
