The second Summer Games held in Los Angeles were the target of a retaliatory Soviet-led boycott, which had little impact on the competition. The games were a huge financial success and produced a large number of stamps. Those released by the United States and countries of the world from A through Madagascar are included in Part 7A. Short biographies of athletes and stories about the competition appear on many of the album pages. Pages can be housed in Scott Specialty Series Binders & Slipcases.
