The Coin World Coin Holder is a high-quality clear acrylic snap-tight case that encloses a pliable black insert.
The insert is made of inert polyethylene and is similar to the insert ANACS uses in its certified coin holders.

The Coin World Coin Holder looks much like a certified coin holder. To distinguish it from certified coin slabs currently in use, the obverse of the Coin World Coin Holder is etched with the Coin World Globe, while the reverse is etched with both Coin World Logo and Globe.
Twenty different holders accommodate most U.S. coins. Coin sizes shown in the individual product descriptions are from official government statistics. Some early American coins vary in size from official specifications. Coins with significant variation from official sizes may require a different holder.
Many ancient coins can be mounted in Coin World Coin Holders. Measure the diameter of the coin at its widest part and compare to the US coin dimensions shown for each holder.
Mounting a coin is quite easy. A first-time user describes the mounting process as "Much easier than I anticipated. I never had to touch the coins. They seemed to leap into the inserts!"

HOW TO MOUNT A COIN IN A COIN WORLD COIN HOLDER

1. Place the coin on a Coin World Coin Pad (#CWCP01).
2. Remove insert from Coin World Coin Holder and hold it with thumbs on either side of the coin opening.
3. While bending the top of the holder toward you, slide the bottom of the opening against the edge of the coin.
4. When necessary, use your middle fingers to hold the top of the coin in place while you roll the insert down around the top of the coin.
5. If the coin does not easily slip into the grooved slot in the coin opening, you may need to turn the insert over and bend it away from you to get the coin completely into the opening.
6. Remember, never touch the coin's surfaces with your fingers.
7. The enclosed Coin World identification tag slips into the inset space above the coin on the obverse of the insert. The top half of the snap-tight coin case will hold the tag in place.
8. Before placing the insert into the snap-tight coin case, you may want to blow any dust, lint or contaminants out of the case using a compressed gas duster (#CXAIR).
